  • Holistic psychotherapy is a comprehensive approach to mental well-being that recognizes the interconnected nature of the mind, body, and soul. Beyond cognitive and emotional exploration, it considers the body a vessel of experience and healing. Somatic practices, such as mindfulness, breathwork, movement, and body awareness, are woven into the therapeutic approach, acknowledging the body's role in processing and storing emotions and emphasizing the importance of the body's wisdom in the healing process. Exploring spirituality adds depth by inviting clients to explore their connection to something beyond themselves, finding a deeper sense of meaning and feeling a sense of connection and oneness with all life. Together, these dimensions empower clients to journey toward mental health through self-awareness, acceptance, and a harmonious integration of mind, body, soul, and spirit.

In my work with clients, I incorporate traditional psychotherapy practices with breath work, meditation, embodied exercises, guided imagery, divinity tools, and connection with nature.

  • A client who seeks my support has done some personal work already and wants to dive deeper. This client possibly seeks to explore their identity, and relationships with others, create deeper meaning in their life and feel more aligned with their authentic self.

In our work together I seek to support you in fostering greater self-love, finding your purpose, working through difficult life transitions, changes or loss, and healing from interpersonal trauma and relational difficulties. Additionally, I aim to support you in exploring and identifying your beliefs and values and finding ways to embody them in a way that might allow you to become more aligned with your preferred way of being.

Through this work, we will explore and identify your feelings, core beliefs, patterns of thinking and behaving, as well as how relationships, systems and structures impact your experiences. Additionally, we will develop skills and strategies for managing difficult emotions or aspects of your life where you might feel stuck or wish to gain clarity. You will be invited into the present moment, to strengthen your intuition, re-connect with your body, open your perspective, and make meaningful changes in your life.

  • I work to support couples who seek to deepen their relationship, explore their patterns of interacting and come to experience new more supportive ways of connecting and communicating. In couple therapy, we can address attachment injuries and work to repair those injuries and rebuild trust as well as work through times of challenge and transition and build resilience against future relationship challenges.

Additionally, I offer support to couples who might not have conflict or communication issues that are at the forefront but rather wish to explore their values, beliefs and dreams for their future together with hopes of building a stronger relationship. This could include conversations related to relationship roles and expectations, finances and financial goals, spiritual beliefs, intimacy and sex, family planning, and family of origin.

  • Walk and talk therapy, also known as outdoor therapy or ecotherapy, is a form of psychotherapy where sessions take place outdoors, typically while walking. Instead of the traditional office setting, or virtual session, clients and therapists engage in conversation while walking in natural environments such as parks, trails, or gardens. This approach combines the benefits of physical activity and exposure to nature with the therapeutic process, aiming to enhance mental well-being, reduce stress, and promote self-reflection.
